Dear Students,
A two-part workshop is being organized by the COE Department to foster research and development. The schedule for the two days is broadly given as follows:
A) Students’ Paper-presentation contest on 2/11/2011
A paper presentation contest will be held on 2/11/2011. In this contest, all interested 3-4th year students (all branches) of NSIT will be given an opportunity to showcase their research work which may include already published papers or completed projects. Theme of the paper should be related to computer science only.
Judging Panel:
1. Dr. Shampa Chakraverty
2. Dr. Anand Gupta
3. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Dhurandher
Special prizes and certificates will be awarded to the winners.
- Judging panel will aslo include Distinguished alumni of the Institute and they will share their valuable experiences and ideas with students.
-A special invitation to first and second year students to be a part of the audience, this will be a great opportunity to know about research opportunities @NSIT.
BTech and MTech students can register for participating in the paper presentation by visiting the link.
B) Seminar by Prof Vaishnavi on 9/11/2011 for faculty, TRFs and MTech students of all Departments
A 1-day seminar by Dr. Vijay K. Vaishnavi, Prof. at Georgia State University, USA is being organized on 9.11.2011 for full day. The theme of the one-day seminar is “Conducting Design Science Research in Information Technology”. The target audience for the seminar comprises interested faculty, TRFs and MTech students of COE, IT, ECE, ICE.
Interested Faculty, TRFs and MTech students of all Deaprtments can register for attending the one-day workshop on 9th November by visiting the link.
